Last Minute Prep

At class tonight, the hubby tagged along to make sure Roxie would be ok with him being around while we're in the ring since we have our first Rally trials this weekend. He was also there to get some footage of us doing some work.

And this one is of us doing our run-thru on a Rally Advanced course:



Mind you, we're only entered in Rally Novice right now, so this particular course is a lot more challenging than anything we'll see at the trials this weekend. I'm happy to say that I made no handler errors in this run-thru! Roxie had some trouble getting past some distractions which consisted of strategically placed bowls with treats in them. She's not one to pass up "free" goodies. But fortunately, we won't see that exercise in the Rally Novice classes so we have time to work on that one and make it perfect for later on.

All in all, we had a good week in our classes, so I'm feeling good about our trials this weekend.
