Another One

Boris had another seizure today. Didn't seem to be quite as intense as the first one, but it was still about 1-2 minutes in duration, and definitely grand mal. He came out of this one much more quickly than the first one and seemed to recognize us almost immediately. We called his neurologist right after it happened and Boris has been scheduled for an MRI this Friday. I'm scared at what the MRI might find, but at the same time, we have to get some answers as to why these seizures are happening so that we can try to fix or control whatever is causing them.

Our neurology appointment last week didn't really shed much light on why this is happening. Boris' bloodwork and other tests came back ok. So we need to rule out various causes, such as tumor, stroke, inflammation, infection, or some other cause. And there is the possibility that no cause might be found and he would just be considered to be epileptic.

So for now, we wait and see what the MRI has to say.
