Great Weekend

Roxie had two trials this weekend and came away with two more RAE legs... that puts the grand total at 9... just one more leg to go for her RAE!!!

At Friday's trial, Roxie scored an 88 for her Excellent run and a 93 for her Advanced run. I was pleased with both of her runs and it feels like we're back into the groove now after being off for most of the summer.

Saturday night's runs felt even better. Roxie scored a 95 for her Excellent run and a 99 for her Advanced run. I personally think the judge's scoring was a bit high on Saturday and that we probably would have been about 3 or so points lower under most judges. This judge gave away a lot of 100s and let people get away with things that other judges would have given NQs for. But scoring aside, these runs felt great and I was very happy with our performance.

And saving the best for last, I'd like to say happy 5th anniversary to my wonderful Hubby, who is willing to give up part (and sometimes *all*) of his weekends to be up at the crack of dawn to drive us to these trials, take pictures and video, provide comic relief when we're getting stressed, carry around all our show gear, and do anything else we could possibly need. Your unwavering support, love, patience, and encouragement has made everything so much better not only at these trials, but every day. Thank you, honey!!!
